Gardens
Enjoy a sneak peek at the seven beautiful gardens that will be featured in the 13th Annual Garden Tour.
1930s Prewar Brick Tudor
When the current owners first purchased this 1930s home, it was hidden behind overgrown greenery preventing those passing by from seeing the charm of its earlier day. However, once removed this prewar brick Tudor began to "croon" to the owners and their garden designer.
Relaxing Bungalow
Taking their cue from the California bungalow style, it took an entire family's effort to create a peaceful sanctuary to relax in at the end of the day. With the repeated use of natural elements and warm earth tone colors both inside and outside of the home, these weekend warriors stayed true to the architecture of the home.
Cotswold Storybook Cottage
Derived from the country cottage of England's Cotswold region, this architectural style is far from the symmetry of the traditional colonial. With sloping uneven roof lines, arched doorways, and a delightful mix of plantings, this picturesque home conjures up images of reading fairy tales as a child.
East Sac Cape Cod
Cape Cod architecture originated in 17th century colonial New England and is evident in this East Sac home. The homeowners have used "Yankee know-how" to create lovely gardens that have adapted to the varying sun exposures of this landscape.
Eclectic and Fun for Children of Every Age
Just like children making mud pies, gardeners and crafters alike keep their hands busy creating works of whimsy, color and design. Whether it is potting plants or creating art, this home has just the "playhouse" that is needed to bring the inner child out in anyone!
Reclaimed, Vintage…Marvelous!
Created by the homeowners, this eclectic garden and landscape, is filled with hidden treasures for the garden enthusiast. In this landscape, riches from another time are never past their prime. If this garden could speak, it would have many stories to tell.
"Father of the Bride" Colonial
This is not San Marino, and you are not visiting the set for "Father of the Bride". But viewing this house from the street, you get that same feeling of family, warmth, and tradition that only a colonial can provide. View the inviting outdoor gardens and entertainment spaces of this family home.
